hiya tried a search and couldnt find anything relating to this subject i wish to replace my worn out steering wheel for one which has the radio and cruise controls. is it a question of pulling the fuse out to stop the air bag going off, what other precautions would i need to take. my other thought is how difficult would it be to wire up my radio to the steering wheel controls and what would be involved if i wished to install the cruise control system. im also about to buy myself the synergy 2 with maf, an egr bypass kit and the crankcase bmw conversion hopefully it will make a difference,hopefully the synergy comes with instructions how to alter the settings for which results is wanted i have a 2002 td4 as always many thanks and hope everyone is keeping well gary

hiya. Can anyone help me please. i have a 3 door commercial td4 auto FL Im about to remove the rear panels to put the rear quarter windows in. in the body section not the hardtop Ive got the angled knife to slowly remove the sealant in order to remove the panels. When i put the rubbers in do i have to run a bead of sealant round it. daft question but i assume you have to put the rubber in first then carefully insert the glass. would i need any other special tools. sorry to ask but searched google, yahoo, etc could not find a step by step guide of installing the windows, as ive never done it before. as always thanks gary

Hiya I wished to introduce myself and say hi, ive got a 2002 TD4 auto 3 door commercial black freelander. have only owned it for a couple of months, wishing to start converting it by me installing the windows and seats etc not sure if the existing commercial bits are worth anything, ie the large dog guard, boot liner and back side panels. was wondering would anyone be so kind to let me know what colour my seats are please. thanks so much. wished to also say after reading this forum it does seem very informative and very friendly kind regards Gary
