forgot to ask this on other topic mate has a 300tdi auto with fly by wire throttle thats giving trouble wont start ticks over fine then cuts out was told it is the ecu but we cant find it to take it out to replace it where did landrover hide it?

why when i go to lock my disco on the plipper does it lock then unlock straight away? to leave the vehicle secure i have to open the drivers door hold down the button? thing on the door while it locks and unlocks itself this leaves the button down i then shut the door and have to lock the passenger door with the key its driving the missus mad as it can take up to 10 minutes to finally get it locked so for the sake of my hearing some one please help me out!
