  1. Hi, I'm just about to order the stuff I need to do a clutch change on my 1983 lightweight, I'm looking at the AP clutch's on paddock's site, are they any good? Also is there anything else I should look at doing while I have the box off? Cheers Shaun
  2. I have to say I not happy with this, the comments made by the owner of the bogged down 90 were those of a pay and play fan, and as such not the sort of thing a laner would say, also the shots of spinning wheels and 4x4's that were in no way road legel only played into the comment that half off roader's out there wernt legel on the roads a comment based on one convoy cought on using paths or bridel ways. Had they spoken to the owner of the disco seen winching out the 90 they would have had a much more reasoned dicusion, which would have been much more incitfull in how most laners think (he is a very good mate and long time laning companion of mine),also it wasnt made clear that byways are leagaly roads and as such not paths as they were disribed I should add I do a good amount of pay and play driving, its a good way of letting off a little steam, but more importantly I cant think of a better way of keeping your skills sharp and learning new ones so that when out on the lanes you know what your doing, and as such have as small an affect as possable. Cheers Shaun
  3. The ones with the cut outs down the sides, I have asked a couple of mates with similer age defenders but they are all different to mine. I?was hoping not to have to pay main dealer prices but I will probably have to Cheers Shaun
  4. Hi, can anybody tell me how to find out which "code" the locking wheel nuts are? as I would appear to have lost mine and need to get a replacement Cheers Shaun
  5. Cheers for that, I will pop along and give it a go
  6. As the title askes really, has anybody been to whaddon in the last few weeks, if so what can I expect? Sorry if that seems a silly question but I have a Td5 90 on 235/85 mud and snow tires and I'm wondering if thery are going to be big or aggresive enough as I havent been there for years, most of my offroading is on green lanes now and they are more than good enough for that but the only other play and play I have been to is devils pit and I do alright up there as long as its not too wet but I dont know if I would want to chance it if we get much rain Cheers Shaun
  7. ok silly question time, where is this MAF? as mine is doing this and I was told its normal, might be worth a try
  8. Cheers for the replys, unfortunatly the 90 is just too small to lay them on the floor. Oh well I will have to put the thinking cap back on! Thanks again Shaun
  9. Hi everybody, I have a 90 xs station wagon, and I'm trying to work out the best place to put my hi lift and waffle boreds (both 4 foot long), not a problem in my old landy as I didnt have seats in the back so they went on the bulkhead behind the drivers seat, but now I do have nice half leather seats and I dont have a bulkhead to fit them to! I do have a mount to fit the jack to the mount for the spare on the back door which would only be fitted and used when on the lanes or at a play and pay site but that seems a lot of weight to add to the rear door, anybody have any idea's or advice? Many thanks Shaun
