  1. ive recently (6 months ago) finnished my series on a cut down rrc chassis, traybacked, tube front etc for trialling and hopefully challenge events late on, but i wouldent do it to a road going truck, stick some parabolics on it, a 200tdi on a series box with overdrive, rangy diffs etc, yould end up with something that drives alot like a defender but isstill a series, with series charecter, thats what i would do if it had to go on the road
  2. theyre still in the cleaver pattern, you only cut halfway down the tread so theyre still the same pattern, just with blocked lugs
  3. yeah i will admit we tried it on my old knackered tyres first, then my dadf did them (ex tree surgeon so reasonably skilled with a chainsaw )
  4. i cut my dumpers with a chainsaw... much better now, they used to slide alot on severe side slopes whereas now they dont, but you have to be carefull, a guy at the club did it and ruined his tyres...
  5. hi, just to say, if youve got a pipe bender, welder and old pair of wings, its easy enough to make your own challenge style wings: these are mine. after i did this to my series hybrid..
