  11. Hi I hope someone could help me out?? I have got a 1987 RRC 3.5 EFI. After to got the car I found that the old rear axle had a lot of holes in it so I replaced it with a new. All the rear bushes have been replaced. I removed the self leaving unit and upgraded the springs. I have panted all the parts and refit them all. All working great until the rear ball joint broke and came away from each other. After a short drive home I removed the A frame ball joint fulcrum bracket. I got a new ball joint a started to fit it to the car I could get the two nuts a bolts holding the bracket to the A frame arms but when it came to getting the ball joint into the axle I could get into in the hole but not all the war through. I did not mater which way I tried to do it I could only ever get two out of the three to line up. I then remover the hole axle but i still can't get it to line up. Any help would be great regards Mark

  14. Just done it and had a nightmare when two of the new studs started to spin around with the new nylock nuts. After a hour or so I have been able to remove it again. Not sure why. As I did make sure I banged them in. Just looked at the Unbrako socket head bolts but not sure how they would be secured inside the case. Mark
  15. Hi I am just about to put my rear diff back on to the axle and I have got a new gasket. But would it be better to do it with grease or sealant. regards Mark
  16. Hi I have just changed the rear axle case on my RRC 1987. I put the studs into the case and I thought I banged them all in. I then put the Diff in and started to do up all the nuts when I got to the bottom two. The nuts went on fine until I got to the nilock part of the nut. And the stud and nut started to turn now I cant undo or tighten them up. Would any body have any idea how I could undo the two nuts. Or should I try to cut them off and try again with two new ones. regards Mark
  17. Thank you so much. Just need it to stop raining to finish the job. mark

  19. Hi After repainting all my parts I am ready to put it all back together. Is it better to tighten all the bolts once the car is back on the floor and then do them up to the right torque settings. Would any body know what the right settings are for all the bolts. I have uploaded some photos to the gallery regards Mark
