hi, just wondering if anyone has either an engine 1.8 petrol or a bottom end /short engine for sale for a k series engine on a 99 plate.the engine i have is a dizzy and not coil thanks lee

hi all after completing my head gasket the engine still will not fire i have changed plugs leads rotor arm and dissy gap strange thing is it ran last night just a bit hard to start then this morning it would not start at all so i change all the above how do i test i think its the coil were the middle lead goes from diisy cap to see if that is sparking also how do i know if a valve is damaged or is that another strip down i have made sure that all the timing marks are correct again and again . when i took dissy cap of and all the timing marks were in place the rotor arm was pointing up inbetween 1&2 is tis correct or should it be pointing more towards 1 strange !!!!!!!!!! am i doing something wrong

hi everyone just done my head done and that went grea,t but on taking it for a drive i have the tc l& abs lights and a picture of a landrover going down hill comes on, also the rev counter and milage clock goes blank as far as i can see all the wires are on does any one have an idea were i start to look thank you

hi i have just done my head gasket on my freelander,all the timing marks are correct but it seems to be missing it sounds a bit splutery if you know what i mean , is the firing order 1342 i haven taken the leads of but i have just bought the car a week ago and it did not run fine the due to radiator leaking lots of water hence doing head gasket water pump and new rad timing belt etc any ideas
