  1. Bit odd with it just being one side. As previous message I would check the obvious first, wire a radio or another stereo to the speakers to check them first, if they're OK then check the wire for breaks with a continuity tester or meter, if these too are OK then check connections. After that I am afraid you will have to get it repaired or replaced
  2. Hi, having replaced the regulator wires on my tailgate I had to recallibrate and so disconnected my battery, As you will have guessed I need to re enter my code for the stereo. I looked in the manual, checked for a sticker in the glove box but no code. I don't suppose anybody out there has the software to source the code? I know a dealer can do this but I think £25 for a code is a bit of a giraffe. The serial No. is RG597W11043824 Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I did do a search first.
  3. Hi Rodders, I have the same problem at the moment, however my window was fine until I replaced the wires from the regulator (one snapped). I checked that it went up and down OK, which it did so locked it all up and replaced the door panel as it was getting dark. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed it didn't drop when pressing the handle so I tried to callibrate the window stop, this made no difference. However after standing looking at it while scratching my head I noticed that the heater wires didn't quite look straight. I presume the window is not quite straight and therefore the callibration is not working properly. I will take panel off and try to straighten and try again. Anyway, unless you have moved your window in a similar way I suggest you try to recallibrate, which is simply to disconnect battery for ten seconds then reconnect (window should drop) then fully close window, fully open, and then fully close again. Hopefully that will do the trick. Please make sure you have your stereo code first though ............ I didn't and will have to post to see if anybody can help with that!
