Hello, new to site, I have a Disco 2 V81 with Multipoint LPG system, I have a misfire, having had the vehicle on a computer it is show a problem with "Bank 1" Oxy sensor, I have changed both sensors and the problem still remains. Whilst the computer was connected, the sensor was working periodically but showing no function for most of the time. I have pulled the insulation off the wiring where the LPG system wiring has been grafted onto the original wiring form the multiplug where the oxy sensor is plugged in. the wiring is sound and has been checked with a multimeter to confirm integrity. I have not checked continuity of the other wires from the multi plug for the original wiring. The multi plug is dry and oil free, bother sensors were nicely brown when removed. Can anyone tell me where to look for a common wiring connection problem or any other info' this is I am sure a wiring problem. The truck had been running okay 'ish when purchased but one evening when raining I hit a puddle and soon after the truck seemed to have a new lease of life it appeared to have twice the original power. That was until the following morning when I guess it dried out and it was back to its old ordinary self. I am pleased with the truck but this issue is driving me insane, I noticed that on another site a Land rover technician has suggested unplugging both sensors and appeared to be okay for the truck owner, Is this a possible solution, please please can anyone help I need this truck to rerun properly.
