My daughter has owned her 03 Freelander SE since brand new, it now has 95K miles The car was "fairly" trouble free for the first 50K miles, luckily we invested in the extended warranty. At 74K the engine was replaced, not rebuilt; but replaced with brand new one shipped from the UK also replaced intake manifold, water pump, sun roof, vartious electrical swiches, stuck windows etc etc but the last straw was a couple of week ago when the thermostat went out ant the ridiculous cost to fix it, so I fronted her the money for down payment on a new car in exchange for the Freelander. Now I need to get in right order to sell before something happens The current and most pressing is the rear/5th door/hatch whatever you call will not unlock how can I get in from the cargo area to unlock it and are replacements mechanisms available? Thanx
