  3. Hi guys,

found the major leak, causing my carpet to get soaked, I have to wade alto to feed livestock, I recently

went through the river with no carpet, gazed at the door at the bottom, and it looked like someone was poking a hose through it. Has anyone else had this problem or could my doors need new seals, don't no whether this is normal or not, i've tried stopping it by wiping the carp from around the doors, but didn't seem to help and by the time i feed stock the mud was all there again. Has anyone got any ideas? hopeing to put the carpet back in shortly as it has almost dried out, but will leave it out and build a custom floor that i can just dry out with an old towel or something.

    many thanks

  4. got hold of a chap who works for him first said that they did not own this website, then said that this a new website that should be live yet they own lr spares, he said they have the spacers in stock, and he needs to speak to Chris, as has nothing to do with this other website, awaiting a call back but optimism is lacking, i willl keep you posted.

    many thanks the optimist

  5. Just ordered wheels spacers from www.lr2go.com, then realised no contact details can't get hold of them and nothing sent to me. I have called trading standards and this is seems to them a scam however nothing can be done as the company has 30 days until there is a problem if i haven't received my items. If any one has used this company and has received or not received there items,

lease let me know asap, I have there address, thanks to the internet whether its the right one or not.

at current seems that i have lost my money, but if i have i want to warn others, about this.

    many thanks

  6. i have fitted 2 inch liftkits to 4 freelander 1s ,

    2x L series

    1x 2002 td4

    1x 2005 td4

i have only ever fitted camber pins to the front, the adjuster on both track rods will need to be lenghtened approx 11 flats to get the front tracking about correct

also the front inner wings need cutting/welding so the the track rods dont fowl on full lock (with the suspension on full drop)

brilliant thanks ramhead, the chap lifting it for me is going to cut the inner wing as far as he can before hitting the box section, did you need to go any further than that?

    many thanks

  7. hi

29.3" Tyres on a Freelander should be something!

I presume the spacers are just for Steering lock?

    Si

its to cover the steering lock and stop the tyres hitting the spring bases, the picture on mad freelanders of the chap who has done it looks brilliant, and with the 2 inch lift i should have ground clearance problems, will upload before and after photos next to a standard freelander, for people to see.

    cheers

  8. nope checked, there is now problem with the actual car and the amount of water found is far to great to be that, the carpet has now been there for 24 hours and still isn't dry, however the trough i put there out of interest of quantity of water now has 5 inches of water and as said before is a 6ft by 1ft trough, going to lock the carpet in a container with a dehumidifier when it arrives to get the last drops out.

    cheers

  9. carpets out, being a commercial i've taken the rear wood floor out, and dog gaurd, boot floor was dry, seal around the hardtop was perfect looked at the history from when i bought it and this had been replaced. are there any place near the front that would let water in so far the carpet has filled a 6 ft by 1ft trough by 2 inchs which is ridiculous,

    many thanks

  10. Hi guys,

    its me again,

just had some more exploration of my three door commercial, i removed the dog guard and took out the boot floor to find 4 bolt holes with nothing in them just seein daylight at the other end. so i have filled these with some spare bolts. i then notice that the footwells behind the seats, were soaking wet. I started to pull back the carpet after 4 hours of drying did nothing, to find an inch of water which the carpet was sucking up, as i pulled the carpet back it all poured out of the carpet, filling up the well.

    three questions:

where could this water be coming from?

how can i get rid of it?

and how is easy would it be to take out the hole carpet and let it dry by the fire after squeezing as much of the water out as possible. (or just by a new one if too far gone)

    thanks guys,

    theOptimist.
