Whereabouts are you?
Hi Eightpot , did you mean me or DrRob ?
-
Keith Gott in Lasham just outside Alton are a reputable Land Rover specialists for old and new , decent fellas to boot & I know you asked for a company to remove your head etc but if you take it off yourself then Roe engineering in Fleet has a good reputation , a bit of a drive from Petersfield though. Hope this is of some help.

The HD bumper is bent. LH chassis leg bent back at the bumper mount. Pushed the RH wing across a few mm which broke the plastic outer wing where it bolts to the bulkhead (aluminium one this time)

I saw the Escort one with the supposed crash into a rock the size of a small country estate then all the heart wrenching and hand wringing as to weather they can fix it up , by all accounts the MK2 was just crying out for a reworked zetec and what the hell is the plastic yank playing at , they make you want to scratch where you aint got an itch

I sometimes find that when somebody drives very close behind me with any combination of high beam/fog/spot lamps on, I get all confused and end up selecting neutral.
Funny that , my hand accidently finds the rear led work lights

Cheers for that Quagmire , must admit ive always had a thing for the V8 in all its guises and like I said would love to plug one into my old 90 . We'll have to see , bloody hell I sound like her now
-
Sorry, just to make sure I don't upset V8 owners and to clarify my "sell my soul" comment id love nothing more than to fit a V8 of any size to my 90 its just that the current Mrs kerby and me , or is it I , don't quite see eye to eye on things of the Land Rover nature and after getting caught looking at the Mega Squirt web site price list things have gotten frostier than an Eskimos knickers .

My old 90 hasn't either ,its just reading articles like that in the press makes me jittery what with councils being given the option to levy fines / fees call them what you will on dirty diesels and waiting for the Gov to make a decision on how they're going to tax us owners of older diesels. I was just looking at your post in the Defender section Western and trying to make my mind up as to rebuild my 200tdi as you are or sell my soul and attach a V8 .
-
Brace yourselves fellas we're being greased up for full penetration
-
Ive just had the head off of my old 200tdi , strangely only heard a moaning sound after the job was done ,when the current Mrs found the invoices for the parts
