  1. I was thinking about this too. I have been given a small supercharger (not much bigger than an alternator), it has a bore size of 1 1/4 inch. Do you think it is too small for the series 2.25? I wouldnt be doing it for massive power gains, more just to say "look at me i have a supercharger!"
  2. My series, pretty much standard 2.25 petrol. Looking to improve.
  3. If you're a cheap skate (like me) skim your current head by 125thou, port match it and if you feel confident you can do a bit of gas flowing as well. The retard the timing a bit. I would also highly recomend a weber carb and a K+N type air filter, normally I would say they were a waste of time but on a 2.25 it works wonders. Not a huge power increase on a clean oil bath but low maintainance and the sound, ahhhh!
  4. Good move. I'm about to fit this to my series and make it automatic switching between maps when on lpg. It will also mean i can get a decent timing curve when I have finished my 9.5:1 head.
  5. Few questions; What compression did you end up with? What did you do to the cam and who did the work? How did you fit the su? Did you make an adapter or did you buy a proper manifold? Was it all worth it? What did you do with ignition timing? I hope i'm not asking too many questions, in fact I will re-phrase that, I hope you dont mind me asking so many questions. Cheers.
  6. What about timing and valve clearance?
  7. I was thinking more like 90thou?
  8. I'm just about to skim my 8:1 2.25 head to 9:1. Anyone have any ideas how much i have to take off and what I should be doing with timing and carb settings?
