  1. Hi all, I wonder if someone could help me with my 1998 diesel Freelander, had her for 2 years with very few problems, but while driving home last week she suddenly lost power, she now won't go above 50mph, I changed the fuel pump so for but still has a lack of power, the engine sounds fine and she starts ok too, I'd apreciate any help. Thanks
  2. hi guys, I have a been getting vibrations in my 98 Freelander, I thought it might be the replacement used tires I put on but reading your posts I am concerned that it might be the rear prop. I was considering removing it to improve fuel consumption anyway, and it sounds like it may be important to do it sooner rather than later. Are there covers for the diff available or would I need to fabricate them, and how hard a job is it to remove the Prop? anything I should know before I attempt it? Cheers
  3. Can someone please help me i have recently bought my second Freelander Mk1 1.8 petrol, she started to intermittently loose all warning lights, speedo, Rev counter and trip while driving, this usually happened after I used the turn signal. Now this fault is permanent and my baby won`t start. (she does turn over and the battery is fine) Everything else works fine, there are no blown fuses, I have changed the fusebox, but this hasn't helped. If anyone has had a similar problem or has any ideas I would be most grateful. Thanks for listening Freebiker
