On the subject of Velcro, we use this stuff at work and I am yet to find something it won't hold. http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/hook-loop-tapes/4239555/ Hook one side, loop the other, comes on a 10 metre roll, cut to length, if you cut it too short just over lap it and you get a longer piece again.
