  1. Sometimes it can be a real pain to get all of the air pockets out. Try letting the truck idle for a while with the cap off and look for bubbles in the overflow bottle. Just be sure to do this experiment when the truck is cold.

If you get constant bubbles in the overflow tank you may have a head gasket issue

  2. Here's a quick test for a bad Watts link bushing with a video showing a bad bushing.

    Symptoms

When you have a Watts link bushing going bad, normally you will hear a clunk and a bunk from the back of the truck when you go over bumps or from forward to reverse. The truck will also not want to track straight on the road and feel very loose.

    Instructions.

Get your biggest friend to push on the truck side to side on the body right next to the rear taillight. We did driver-side to passenger side in this video.

Now climb under and see if there is any play in the bushings.

  3. As suspected, it is needed :)

But we already gained this impression when we tried to cross a field with a trailer on...........this is why the truck on the trailer has 3 diff locks :i-m_so_happy:

Our ford vans have the same traction control and that nearly works too.

I too have had to resort to the three lockers on the trailer to pull the tow truck

  4. I know its a bit of a trip but we can make the Lucky 8 Terrafirma Truck available if you come over with out one.
