  1. Try a new O Ring on the Spindle of the injector pump I had the same problem and thats whot it was its OK now, I got the part that you are after from Pander Fuel Injection but did not need it, you will have a job getting one as most places want you to send the Pump to them so thay can do the job, there AD is belowe Pander Fuel Injection 4a Bridge Industries Fareham Hampshire PO16 8SX Tel: 01329-220551 Below is what I found on how to replace the O Ring thanks to CharlesY Mike Re: throttle spindle seal on the Tdi Injection pump is leaking ________________________________________ Here is what I wrote for the other leaking pump spindle: I fitted a new O-Ring to my NA pump myself. It isn't difficult, but it needs a lot of care. The whole innards of the pump are under a little pressure from the fuel lift pump so it does leak steadily when the O-ring goes. Wash the pump VERY CLEAN ..... it must be utterly crud free! As I recall, the trick is to get the throttle lever off the spindle first, and this needs to be done WITHOUT disturbing the settings of the multi-part lever. Then it is possible to undo the screws holding down the top cover, and as you lift the lid up, you can feed the throttle spindle down VERY CAREFULLY. Common sense will tell you what all bits you need to undo the get the pump lid clean off the body of the pump. The two levers (Throttle and tickover) are connected to springs , so you need to be careful! Once the lid is off, the o-ring is perfectly accessible, and can be replaced with one from any 0-ring kit. Then you head back to the pump, hook on the springs, feed the spindle back up the hole and carefully through the new o-ring, and screw the lid down neatly onto its rubber seating gasket. Bleed it ... job done. Cost 1p for an o-ring, and maybe an hour or two if you take plenty time. Saving .... hundreds of pounds probably. If you were anywhere near here I would do it for you if you whip the pump off, but really, taking the pump off is NOT required, if you know how to be careful. NO hammers are needed for this job, so that rules out most conventional LandRover repairs experts and methods! CharlesY
  2. The parts that I managed to get came to day (new shaft and the brass bush) but I don’t need them to now, its stopped leaking now and I have done over 100 miles to make sure and its OK, it must have been a bit of dirt that came up between the shaft and the bush and got behind the O Ring at the top of the shaft then cleared its self, I will have to change the fuel filter now to make sure that nothing else gets through
  3. This is my first post, the throttle spindle seal on the Tdi Injection pump is leaking Diesel, where can you get a new shaft and the brass bush from to do the repair, it’s on a Discovery 200 DTI J Rej, I have got all the info on how to do the job, it’s just the replacement parts that I want, everywhere that I have tried won’t sell the parts I need or don’t have them.
