look at the switch find the wire to the earth return remove it from the body work extend this wire to the seat box, put the door plungers in the seat box connect wire to them
you will also need (if necessary) change the feed from an ignition source to a permanent feed
so as the door open the lights should come on

my first landy was a td it was totally abused when I bought it
dropped its oil 60 miles after I bought it
replacement engine was badly worn fitted by the garage I bought it from eventually had it rebuilt after 6 years of ownership
only sold it because to get it though its last MOT would of took to much time and too much money engine was slow but steady
also my turned over like it had a flat battery even though everything was new or renewed?

just checked with the local dealership all OEM geniune parts rear brake pads come with anti squeal shims, also confirmed by western.
can anybody tell me if non OEM pads come with or without I think the garage have fitted them so will be going back tomorrow to talk to them
see if I can resolve this squealing if not will apply copper slip but want to see if I can get the shims first.........

I would think that if a person (I believe you are an architect?) turned up in a new Disco3 that his business was going good and that a lot of people were using him. I would also blieve (and I do) that this person would know whats what and must have a good reputation.............
Although turning up in a new freeloader is just as good
image sells mate as does reputation

Most of the stuff I've seen Chromed has overtime become scratched and then rusted/flaked
which would of course damage ropes
maybe the stuff wasn't chromed to a high standard but thats my opinion

I think you might need a trip to the opticians if you need lights during the day because you must be B) <blind or maybe you need a trip to one of those laser eye treatment companies for the cattaracts

hello david i take it it is yourself not an imposter?

I was wondering, as the question was raised earlier by my father, that maybe the garage left them out so that when I went back to them to moan about the squealing they'd say "oh they must of been dodgy"......... we'll change them .........then wack in the shims without touching the brakes but charge me for new pads...................... !!!!
not that I'm saying anything and I'm not gonna name names so don't ask
