hi guys, i am in need of your help again if possible. i was driving my truck (1994 300 tdi manual) when with no warning 12 miles from home i had trouble getting any gear, i had to force the gear in. i changed the slave and master cylinder and also the damper,then bled the system but it still wont go in gear easy except 2nd which seems fine??? any ideas ??? i thank you in advance. neil

hi, can anyone recommend any good books or dvds etc that would help me widen my knowledge on my disco 1 300 tdi, i have the relevant haynes manual and find this very helpful(except for the wiring diagrams???) i have trawled through bookshops and online auction sites and there are a few to pick from but i didn't want to spend money just fior the sake of it. i suppose if i have any more problems i could come on here and pick you fine gents minds! i am still getting used to the correct etiquette on using this site so apologies to all. thanx in advance neil.

hi guys and gals, this is my first time doing anything like this so i am apologising in advance for any wrongs or mess ups. i have a problem and would like to know if anyone can help me. firstly, i have a disco 1 on a "m" plate 94. the truck is great and never caused me a problem in the last 18 months, however yesterday whilst waiting for my wife the engine was ticking over on just under 1000 revs when the speedo needle started "jumping and twitching" up to the 50 mph mark. i would be grateful if anyone knows whats happening. i am thanking you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
