Not a bad lookin motor as it is i agree with what most say i've done a fuel pump tweak removed centre box goes like fook (for a 90) cruise at 70 overtake instantly up to 85-90 (well according to the clock) 300tdi on 265 75 16's bit of sound proofing disco 2 seats & sony ice could'nt ask for more

Hi mate i followed the post by 'orange' but found it much easier to take out all the inner & outer sills replace them with 100x60x4mm box make new body mounts(simple) and easier than trying to weld to old sill then just weld the "a" "b" posts to the box section Would not have even attempted it tho if i had'nt have read that thread first truely inspirational

HI mate your floats are sticking just give the carb a tap with a hammer around the dashpot area The reason it stops at 3000rpm is your using fuel faster than it can supply it!
-
LUMP HAMMER no seriously is it a dash mount ? just undo the mount screws and take it out
-
Dont forget to change the o ring behind the crank gear IT WILL LEAK

I have Disco 2 seats in the 90 cheap easy to fit and lower than Rangie seats (Probably not as comfy tho )
