Just found your post/pics looks pretty good to me
the mount isnt identical to origonal but close enough and looking at it there does appear to be a slight angle
just been out and looked
the engine and box do tilt back a fair way
hope this helps
Hi mate i'll try and make some sense of this . i get for your long line 330mm short line 20mm
but(here comes the nonsense)where your red dots are imagine you had dotted the outer edges
on the bracket is there a circular cut out? if so the bottom of the circle sits flush with the top of the chassis rail
ie higher than in your pic hope this helps both sides are the same
think i would be tempted to wait for the engine nail it to a g/box then measure again
Hi mate the advice is, on certain jobs (they all range in difficulty)if its easy and cheap chance your arm(unless safety critical)if you really dont want to do it twice (and who would really) buy genuine
good luck
Hi lads its not the gauge or the wiring just dont think the gauge is compatable with the sender any idea's
Engine out is/was the wonderful italian VM !!! wasnt actually that bad erm ?
Hello all just fitted a defender 300Tdi into my RRC if i can sort pics if anybody is interested i will post them plus any info . Hi mate ive got a td5 bulkhead loom (missing diagnostic plug good reason why ) also a real nice tub (300tdibut you could
adapt the fuel filler} make me an offer will be re-build friendly :} got doors too

Hi mate heard something about load ratings for these there not going on a 110 are they ? Try 265 /75/16 they look pretty good more or less the same as 235/85R16 good luck
Hi mate have considered disco 2 seats ? requires some frame removal but the basics are there .found them really easy to fit and they are a really comfy seat
hi mate its probably the join between the front and rear roof sections it will drive you crazy if you let it mine almost got the "FOR SALE" sign ! good luck no idea why this is underlined
Hi mate with ref to your other post about the leaking oil seal (crank) did you change the "o"ring behind the crank gear ? A simple tool to lock the crank drill a 5mm hole in a 14mm bolt screw bolt into bellhousing insert drill bit shank first then away you go
Hi mate had something similar on my 90, turned out to be the external joint where the front sloping part of the roof meets the top section tried everything ! sealed that, turned out robert is your mothers brother! No more leaks well at least not from there !
Dont forget the "o" ring behind the crankshaft gear !!!!!!!!! ask me how i know !
it does'nt come in the belt kit (buy a gates belt ) rolls-royce of belts, fit and forget (as long as everything else is ok )
Hi mate removed my centre box (straight thro pipe) kept rear sounded ok seamed to improve performance (pump also tweaked ) one new X-member later i was on straight thru . Drove as flat as a fart noisey and slower i put the centre box back ,not as quick as when the centre was out but a straight thru IS to loud, sounds Turd, Turns heads for all the wrong reasons
Now thats the best idea i have heard yet ! i hope it is just that easy, can seriously do without the aggro, not like i'm building a rocket its just a feckin old land rover (said in the best possible taste )
ye thats what some re -manufacturers do so the vehicle cant be cloned via the engine number, quite common by all accounts ? dont know all the ins and outs giving me a headache tho !
