  1. FridgeFreezer that possibly is correct. It’s time consuming and if the Thermostat housing bolts snaps it’s a new water pump also. So decided to go the alternative route
  2. Afternoon , Looking for a Freelander TD4 coolant flow diagram that shows full picture of it with the direction the coolant runs etc TIA RizzleKicks
  3. Evening Folks, The 2004 manual 🦛 has decided to blow luke warm air & the Temp gauges rises no more than 1/4. Mechanic has said that the Thermostat has failed and is in the stuck open position. Now I have read up and see there is an easy fix to this , see the link below. My question is has anyone tried this Fix of so how easy is it and is there any pics ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325053759548?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=gRLtOZl9TLS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=im--QYK9SL-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY TIA RizzleKicks

  5. Hey Folks, I've been asked by my elderly neighbour , who owns a 2004 D2 and not very computer literate to put up a post on his behalf. He has the G4 Roof Bars and has noticed the roof lining is wet, a closer inspection confirmed the roof bar gaskets are the issue. Has called the local Stealers , who say the Roof Bar gaskets are obsolete and would not give out part numbers. Can anyone help auld Hamish with part numbers ? There was also the possibility of using a sealant adhesive around the base of the bars and then setting the bars in place , what is the best adhesive to use for this and one that won't damage the paintwork , can anyone recommend sealant? Been advised no TigerSeal as its hellish to remove if required to do so. TIA RizzleKicks
  6. Hey Folks , anyone suffered water ingress from there also ?
  7. Well folks after weeks and weeks of trying to work out the issue I was having with my instrument cluster illumination blowing Fuse 3 it turned out to be the glove box light was knocking against the metal recess in which it’s situated as one side of the light lens had a broken lug.
  8. Hi , I have a 2003 D2 & a few weeks ago I lost the illumination to the Instrument Cluster Panel & centre console back lights. After checking the fuses I saw fuse 3 had blown replaced this and after 30 / 45 minutes it blew again. Now I have tried Googling to see what else Fuse 3 under the steering wheel fuse box controls but can’t find anything. When the fuse blows all external lights still work as normal. I would appreciate any help on what else the fuse feeds or what I should be liking for .
  9. Cheers FF , where can I access the rave manuals from ?
  10. Folks my 2003 D2 has lost all lights to the speedometer cluster and the centre heat control panel . I replaced fuse 3 and it started to work again but after an hour of driving it blew again giving me no light on the instrument cluster or centre heater panel. All my lights were still working though , which is confusing . Any ideas ?
  11. 2003 Disco has water entering the cab around the driver sider grab handle area. Sunroofs , roof bars , windscreen all been replaced and still water , confused have attached a few images of where the water sits. Any help would be much appreciated
  12. Afternoon all, just wanting to see if anything looks odd on my dash , had the Clutch , Slave , Master & Fuel pump replaced to my 2004 TD4 with 86,000 on the clock. It’s idling at 1000rpm on stand but when I change gear the Speedo seems a bit slow in catching up especially in 1st gear , maybe it’s me being paranoid after having the work done , your thought plz Link below https://youtu.be/HXgNxHkbv-s
  13. Evening All, I am looking at replacing my Turbo hoses to my 2004 TD4 but genuine are costly , they have been the original and are a bit soft and squidgy now. What effect will this have on the performance & can anyone recommend a company or even a link to where I can purchase new ones from ? Cheers
  14. Been told I require the fuel pump & was wondering what else I require ?
  15. Evening Folks , Filled up the motor this evening £80 worth of diesel and went to start the 🦛, but would not fire up , after about 15 try’s and eventually starting it whilst in reverse as I was facing a brick wall the bugger started . Managed to get it round to my mechanic who put it on a diagnostic machine & it came up with Low Fuel Pressure if I remember correctly , now what I need to know is what’s the part number I am looking for and Amy particular brand apart from genuine that is good enough ? Is this common to start playing up around 86,000 ? 2004 TD4
  16. Afternoon Folks, Looking for part number for the attached. It’s for a 2004 FL . I replaced the main beam bulbs but the dust cover lips have snapped. Pic attached
  17. Called them today and they said it’s obselete.
  18. Evening Folks , Am having great difficulty in sourcing this part for a Freelander 1 2004 TD4 : ROD - GEAR CHANGE: UKN101000 Have tried main dealers and this part is no longer available & no aftermarket either , this is pretty strange as I can’t believe there is not an alternative out there , has anyone had the same problem or managed to fabricate something that will do the job ?
  19. Hey Folks, looking for part numbers for Turbo Hoses for my FL1 2004 Diesel, genuine since new but seen a bit soft now so looking at replacing for genuine , I believe there are in total ?
  20. Evening Folks, After having the Clutch , Slave & Master done by the garage last week @ covering approx 300 miles , I went over a speed bump and 20 seconds later no gears , well was stuck in 1st gear managed to drive approx a mile and call the AA. Surprisingly the AA arrived within half an hour, popped the bonnet and identified it as being the Gear Box Selector Rod/ Rods ball joint has come away as the Rods were just hanging loose. He could get his hand so far but was restricted with the engine to pop it back on , he did say if he could have got underneath it would be a simple case of popping it back on. Now my question is what do in need to order or what caused it to dog this ? Is it a simple fix ? Freelander 2004 TD4
  21. Apologies thought I had explained. Just an update , got a genuine Clutch & Slave cylinder fitted yesterday , and what a difference . Now what I am getting when I press the pedal for the clutch is a click majority of the time. The mechanic did say that on top of the Clutch pedal there is a plastic style ball joint which has a lot of play but could not see the part online , would this mean a new pedal ? Gearbox oil replaced also.
  22. Morning All, Not sure if posted in correct forum , but I’m having an issue with my Landy and am trying to upload a video but video is to big , is there an App out there for the iPhone where I can attach a URL link or does anyone upload videos differently ?
