Puma90
Hi 2010 defender my mileometer reading just says 'error'. I have cleaned the connection at the back of the instrument panel but still the same. Also not sure if this is connected or not but my fuel gauge and the temp gauge work when they feel it ? Plus when these gauges are not working the speedo seams to read high, the trip mileometer and speedo work fine so does all the other bits on the instrument panel. I asked my local Land Rover parts place and they said my transducer has stopped working, so I got one of these took it to my local garage to get it fitted (they are not a land rover garage) but they didn't know where it is fitted ? I have ordered some axle stands and plan to find and fit this bit of kit has anyone done this before and if so any tips would be good like where does it fit? thanks puma
western
your speedo transducer lives on the rear output housing just forward of the transmission brake, same location as any other 90/110. no need to jack the vehicle up, you can get underneath & change it.
