Paul64 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 Hi, I am just in the process of ordering a new dome for top of snorkel after destroying existing one in local multi storey car park. I am going to have to knock the small dent out of the roof as well, when it leaned back before going into orbit! I have a similar clearance problem with the garage if I wanted a roof rack. At the moment without one, I have about an inch and a half spare in height. Does anyone know of a roof rack that sits that low? It must also be able to carry the weight of me walking up top (100kg) and take a roof tent. Tents are another matter. I have given up on the bed in the back scenario as there will not be enough room for the rest of my kit. Whoever, I speak to the differences of opinions are amazing. I like the idea of the sealed box that lifts straight up. Seems very practical, but probably the most expensive of the options. Cheers, Paul.
