Tony90
Seen similar questions here but mine seems a bit different. Rear box needs replacing so bought an ESR254 Britpart. Looks exactly the same as the old one until we came to fit them together! The old one (left in the picture) has a loose fitting to join to the fixed fitting on the middle section . The new one has a fixed fitting and the bolt holes are different distances apart so won't mate with the exisiting middle section. All the parts I've found online have similar fittings so I am at a loss to know how to mate the two parts! Anyone else come up against this and have any idea how to proceed? miketomcat
That's britpart for you, it will mate up to there mid pipe I expect. If the socket fits the pipe I'd re-drill the flange to suit or take it back and get one from another source. Mike
Tony90
Having looked further along the exhaust I can see it isn't what you might call standard. In fact there are no centre boxes as on the Paddock and RImmer pictures nor does the front pipe look the same. Can only assume the whole system is 'bespoke' to go with the Turner Sports head the previous owner had installed. Thanks for the thoughts, my son seems to have bodged someway of mating the two parts.
