polikoff Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Hi all, I have a 2014 Freelander2 . It went into limp mode and when I put my code reader on it said EGR fault. Took it to the local garage and they checked and replaced the EGR valve. I took it away and it still has the same problem but they say now it may be the ECU that is faulty. My code reader says PO 480. Does anyone have any ideas on what else it could be. The nearby LR dealer says it is highly unusual for the ECU to fail.
