Jos
Hi, I'm looking at extending the (rather short) axle breathers (and possibly fitting a bellhousing breather) on my RR Classic based truck. There's lots of kits on ebay but all seem very expensive for the bits in them. I've been told the pipe and fittings are truck airline parts; does anyone know anything about this and where I might be able to buy the parts at a sensible price? Thanks
LandyManLuke
truck airline, cellar/pub fittings, pneumatic control fittings - all the same stuff. The axle breather hole is 1/8", I used 6mm pipe and push fit connectors. I bought a reel of pipe (20m) as thats plenty enough to both axles, boxes, bellhousing, timing case etc. components can be bought from people like RS Cromwells Thorite
