RobotMan Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Can anybody tell me the lengths of rear 1/2 shafts for early coiler axles. I was toying with the idea of shoving a set of early type ashcroft shafts (with 5 year warranty) into a series axle with the use of simple spacers to pad out to a late series drive flange. In my axle I have KAM shafts but a friend is interested in upgraded shafts yet is wary of unwarranted KAM gear for not that much less money compared to the Ashcrofts shafts which I very much doubt he'll break, but are of course warrantied. The idea of turning up some spacers to allow their use seems relatively straightforward unless of course they are very different lengths.
