Strega
Hi all, does anyone know of a company that sells a repair panel for the bottom of the 'A' and 'B' pillars? If I can't find anyone I will be forced to make a splotchy mess!! The corrosion in this area is only on the bottom 2 inches so do not really require the whole post but would settle for that if that's all there is. Mark
Having tried to find A-post repair sections, we ended up making some out of plate on Orange's Rangie. Have to admit we didn't try Rimmers tho... They were made with a bench vice and a grinder mostly, so nothing complicated...
Highway_Star
I did get a couple of A post repair sections from Paddocks, but despite me telling them it's 1990 and hidden hinge, they sent the earlier type with the visible hinges Apparently you can't get A post repair panels for hidden hinge vehicles, so like Mark, I made 'em. In all honesty it was probably less hassle than trying to weld in a (badly) pre formed section.
