Tonneau cover for 90 Truck cab

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I want to made a tonneau cover for the rear of my 90 truck cab to hide stuff in the back to make them less nick-able. Trouble is it has tree sliders fitted, so I have no tying points. Has anyone made one, and if so how did you go about it?

I was thinking of getting a second hand one from a L200 / Navara type and modifying it to fit, but am unsure how it would fasten down, or trying to make a solid one ???

Any ideas

Jonathan

I had 1 made for my 90. Went to a place in Dulverton on Exmoor. They normaly do curtain sided lorrys, banners for shows etc. Went in asked, drove away 1/2 hr later with the tonneau cover made, all the poppers to fit and the elastic to tension and a small metal loop in the centre to hold it up to the cage to stop water pooling. And only cost 20 quid. I had it made in black but they do all sorts of colours. From bright yellow to bright pink and all in between
