firemannotsam Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 Hi Guys has anyone any experience of the Advance and Retard remote Ignition amp as sold by RPI Engineering? I have a 1998 3.9 Discovery which is LPG converted and runs well but is down on power on LPG compared to petrol, I used to have backfire issues which were solved by fitting Magnecor leads and I have been told by 1 or 2 ppl this is a good mod to boost spark and adjust advance when running on LPG so as to get the best power/MPG out of the LPG. Plus it's cheaper than a standard amp if I need to replace ever ( I have replaced 1 already) Any advice on these amps?
