python Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 hi guy's same old thing. where can i get the little stupid spring for my door lock? its for a 200tdi disco. e'bay seems really expensive at 4.50 plus postage for a silly little spring. anyone got any? cipx2 Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 If you happen to have a set like this laying around doing nothing, you can use one of the sprigs (2 in fact) and a pair of pliers to make your own door lock springs. Orgasmic Farmer Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 I "think" you can use the spring from the rear door mechanism that works the child safety lock. Remove it and replace the broken one with it. If you have the lock on the bench give it a go and tell us if it works. Otherwise its £5 from Ebay!
