Trevor Wright
Has anyone any experience of using the Vehicle Wiring Products "Battery Distribution Box": http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-...lders2.php#dist which looks a neat solution for adding those extras that say they should be fed directly from the battery (radios etc) and an Anderson connector? TheBeastie
I know I looked at it but reckoned that there probably wasn't enough room inside the battery box to fit it (but I may be wrong) so I am going to mount some distribution panels on my rear bulhead where I do have space. Got two from JGTech.com with one to run from main battery and the other from the auxilliary battery so I can keep it all separate. What swung me was that these have integral +ve and -ve busbars so I don't have to worry about them. I am also going to get a relay box from VWP to keep that all neat too. ozzie1989
Check out the Blue Sea 5026 ST Blade on THIS page, as it's the cheapest I've found so far! Picture: It's a better solution in my eyes to the battery distribution block. It will support up to 100A (which is plenty for what you want) and yes it does require more work as you have to run a 100A fused cable from the battery to the block for the positive and negative, but once that is done it becomes very easy and neat to add extra accessories
