hattymender
Confused again. Fitting a petrol tank in lieu of diesel (so no wiring at the moment to connect to). On the pump according to the book I should have one +white and one -black. But I also have a very heavy red wire. Why? Cheers
Guest diesel_jim
Does the petrol tank you're fitting have a pump buit in? sounds like the power feed for said pump.
hattymender
mmm.. but if the big red wire is feed then the earth should be just as thick? Tank's not earthed 'cos of rubber grommets? And what does the 3rd wire do? And why don't Land Rover wiring diagrams bare any resemblance to the vehicles they build?????
