Spearos
On my 1988 V8 90 County top speed (setting 3) on the interior fan/heater doesn't work. The vehicle was originally fitted with Air Con, which was dis-connected by the previous owner and the compressor etc removed, it also has different fan controls than other 90s I've seen (because it had Air Con I guess), any ideas? Also what do you reckon the compressor is worth as it came with the 90 in a box of spares? I might sell it if it's worth it... Any help/suggestions appreciated, Mark
NicTheOrange90
Id put a meter on the fan wire and see if its getting a supply then start tracing wire back. (after you check fuse) etc. Is your vehicle one with AC at high level (ie no place to put radio in middle). IMHO unless capped and stored properly the compressor might have dried seals. Looks like the compressor might be useless then! I'm sorry i don't understand what you mean when you say high level? Thanks, Mark

Thanks, Mark Mark, I enclose two pictures, one of an early defender, with the AC in the dash and one that most of us are more familiar with.. Which one did/does yours have... ? And would you not want to have it re-instated?
Spearos
Hi, it's one like the first pic and no I don't want air con back. Would there be much work involved if I wanted to change to the more common type (in pic 2)?? Thanks
