SteveA
Perhaps a dumb *** newbie question but, would a series (5 bearing crank, diesel) exhaust manifold fit onto 200TDI engine and not be restrictive? The reason I ask is because we plan to do the 200 TDI conversion (yes I know another one) but as we already have a turbo on the series engine I was wondering if we can move that high turbo positioned manifold over to the 200TDI. The poor old series engine is a bit sick now
Gremlin
Is that the turbo conversion that allard used to fit?? I always wondered how they controlled boost on those things, no wastegate?? If you intend to fit that turbo on a tdi, than yes it will be restrictive, plus it has no wastegate (i have a turbo from one of those conversions) That turbo is small for a 2.5! I doubt the manifold will fit a tdi. Grem
