timing belt

hi

hello all

i have a defender 300 year 94 tdi i have this doubts

what are the symptoms if I have advanced a tooth in the timing belt ? The noise of the engine is very different? because this week i have lissen one year 97 and is mutch more smmothe then mine!! i have a adjust de valve clearance but noise is the same !!i think knocking to mucht , and when a i have pressed the clutch and gear engage the knocking is whorst.

could some one help me with this??

what is you advice? what kind off tool do you use or what you sugest? i change the belt by my self whit 147,000km mow i have 167,000km i think i put in the same place as the original but!!..... not sure.

but my sound is diferent from other 300 tdi :( :(

what is you advice me? whwn a change the timing the defender has 147.000k and now 170.000km i think i put the belt in the rithe place ,but....

i now my 300 tdi is noise when compared wuth other 300tdi engine,coul be the problem !!

what kiind off special tool i need to do this thing rigth , and not think more about thet? :(
