landrovermanuk Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 Is the power steering box (4 bolt) the same on Classic R/Rovers, Discos and 90s? I need a new box on my 90 and am trying to decide on a recon or 2nd hand from a breakers. Tris Cocks Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 When i broke my steering box (i snapped the shaft) i was able to replace it with an identical version from a 300TDi disco, the one thing that you need to make sure of is that with the steering box that you are putting back it is centred on the vheicle that you are taking off or else you might have more lock on one side or the other.
