PEASEY Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 does anyone know how to attach the rear light guards to a 300 tdi as i have come across some in my garage but without the thick rubber bit on,is it just a case of drilling the body work and bolting through? cipx2 Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 If you're talking about the genuine rear light cluster guards, the rubber bit acts also as as an intermediate part between the guard and the body. The rubber bit bolts to the body and the guard bolts to the rubber bit (and to some special rivet spacers on the other side). For mounting instructions go to http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/, select Discovery, Accessory Fitting Instructions and get the pdf for the Rear Lamp Guards Ref: STC8427AA.
