Boro
I have looked in the technical forum but whats involved in replacing the stub axle oil seal on the rear axle of a 95 300 tdi, im doing the rear bearings and outer seals anyway so is it just a case of unbolting the stub axles, replacing the old seals for new, renewing the gaskets and bolting them back on or it it more involved? i only ask as i read somewhere about earlier landrovers (not sure if this applies to the disco or not hence i ask) having a bush in the stub axle
Les Henson
The job is as you describe - I think the 300's are all the same, so there shouldn't be a problem with parts. Make a note of your axle number - just in case though. Les.
