Cliffh Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 As per the title really should the fan on the front of the aircon condenser be running all the time that the engine is running even when the air con and all interior fans etc are turned off. JimAttrill Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Simple answer. Your engine has overheated at some time, at least the ECU thinks it has overheated. To cool things down, the ECU switches on the aircon fan. That is the good news. The bad news is that the only way to stop the fans running all the time is to clear the engine faults on the ECU.
