4x4-offroading
Hello out there. Would someone be able to fill me in on how easy it is to change the fuel sender assembly on the top of the disco 200 tdi plastic tank, and if poss how much do they cost? Cheers. Andy. Don't know about a Tdi, but my V8 couldn't have been simpler, lift the rear floor or drop the tank just a few bolts unscrew the plastic ring and the whole assembly just lifts out, I'd taken up the floor so it was easy, not sure if you drop the tank if you can get to the flow and return pipes easily. About the best I can do. Bill
dicsosfa
hi did mine month ago dead simple just lift boot carpet and soundproofing and there's a round plate ,unscrew the screws and remove plate and there is the top of the sender(large plstic screw cap) unscrew may need to tap around with hammer and small bar ,disconnect 3 wires and pull out, refitting is the reverse job done. hope this helps discosfa.
