For the last god knows how long we've been running Vauxhall rep mobiles about. Renewal year has come upon us and the latest offering from Vauxhall is worse than ever. I had free use of a mates 96 V8i for a couple of weeks and loved it. Bug well and truly bitten! So, I'm saving a bomb by not having to buy a horrible depretiation machine and going to spend a few grand on a Disco instead. I'm not going to spend all the available budget as I imagine that I'll end up spending a fair bit on whatever I buy. Anyhow, I'm going to be looking at a late TDi or an early TD5 sort of era. HAS to be diesel and more importantly has to be an auto. So, is there anything REALLY important to look out for, other than leaks and rot (Which is what the L/R stood for on the last one I looked at!) Any help will be much appreciated! Cheers, Mart.
