Cat_J Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 honestly its not that loud.ok, if you are doing 6 hour motorway journeys every day i would say it might get a bit tiresome - but for most normal driving and normal speeds its not too intrusive with no cat or boxes. If you up'd it to a 3" pipe with no boxes, then yes its mighty loud with a good fruity bellow at high throttle/revs, but if you stick to the standard diameter pipe then you wont be that bothered by it. The turbo does an excellent job of damping the noise. sounds good (for a diesel) and as you're only 18 you wont hear the exhaust over the stupid car alarm beepbeepbeep music you lot insist on playing! Its called bangybangy music I'll have you know. I just like the look of sacrilege on you oldies faces when a defender comes past with that music on. Police do give you a curious glance though...
