Suspension questions - Gwyn Lewis / Devon OME springs & shocks que

Recommended Posts

With OME making the springs for Devon4x4 - what's the length and spring rate of the D44F/R springs compared with the stock springs?

Is the OME N175 and N174 damper basically a Devon4x4 specific version of the OME N74 with an eye mounting on the top of the rear damper? What's the N75 damper? Relevant to Land Rovers?

Would the D44 setup give a slightly lower spring rate and the N74 dampers being relatively stiff allowing good washboard road performance? My on road speeds are rarely more than 100 k but then majority of roads here are badly potholed tarmac or dirt roads with corrugation where the grader has passed and that's the end of the maintenance.

Thanks for all the help - both on this thread and my others.

Thanks. I was wondering if any one could independently let me know the differences. I've ballsed up the codes a bit - Gwyn Lewis seems to use N73GL - presumably specifically valved for him?
