teamplayer Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 Hi The mirrors on my 03 Td5 semm to be very loose on the swivel mounts. At the moment I have them wedged quite tight with some cardboard but it's definately not the answer. Does anybody know how I can tighten the mounts? Are there any "adjusters" so to speak? M&S Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 If they are loose where they meet the door frame you can pop the plastic trim off on the inside and try tightening the three screws. Or slacken it and pop in a spacer, then retighten. A new mirror is easy to fit if you can get one from a scrapyard. Just three screws.
