robby71
I've got a 3 door FL sport in silver and want to fit something to the sides as it looks a little bare. At the same time i'd like to stop idiots opening their doors onto mine so was thinking of fitting side bars (polished stainless) but was wondering if the steps sit further out giving more protection (they don't look quite as good though?) Does anyone have any pics of a silver 3 door with stainless side bars or steps fited? Cheers
dantd5
I did want the steps but went against that idea as my other half's benz has uncountable dents on it. Besides my inlaw cannot climb that high so she will not be calling me to come pick her I observed a couple telling their son to be careful when opening the door... Sure I was parked by them and behaved like I was on the phone

synapse
Although mine's a five door TD4, the fittings are all the same as in pic below, http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll164/s...s/sidesteps.jpg These are actually free to a good home if anyone wants them, courier to be arranged by new owner or collected from the Oxon/Bucks border. You'll need to supply your own rivnuts tho' Steve
