rocksteady
Hi there, as you will see i'm having a little problem! The engine is backfireing through the induction system on no 3 cylinder at tickover, the rest of them join in as soon as a reasonable amount of throtle is applied. The timing is ok, cylinder head gasket replaced, no change. Replaced cylinder head with a known working one, no change. All other items changed ie ecu, air flow meter, injectors, new distributor, coil etc. No change. In the workshop manual it states that if you place a meter from battery pos to coil neg, you should get a reading of zero. I have 12.36v. This should show a falt in the amplifier. Change distributor and amp with a known item,12.36v! Any bright ideas
