High Pitched Noise in engine bay

I was tempted to record a sound file to go with this.

I have a high pitched noise coming from the front of the engine bay. It seems to reduce in volume when the throttle is applied. It's not a leaking hose

99992 miles...................

I wonder if it may be the water pump bearing?

NB:

No viscous coupling - Pacet fans

New (ish) alternator

New (December) Dizzy

No air con

belt tensioner? remove the poly belt and wiggle the water pump and belt tensioner pulleys, should be easily located, that or with the belts on and engine running spray lube the bearings of the pulleys to eliminate the noise's source
