Hi,ive been pondering on fitting a set of 34/12.1x16 tyres onto me 1990 classic..it has a 2" spring lift, but i have 2 questions...firstly,,will a 12.01 tyre squeeze onto a discovery rim?i have 235/85 x16's on at moment..and second...is there any cutting of arches or similar to make them still articulate ok..?..thanks,,,wayne.

If you don't want any work involved just stick to the same size as what you have, it also depends on what you use your vehicle for. If its more of a road going/commuting vehicle then going bigger while make it drive worse but if you just use it for pottering about in, green laning etc then the extra work involved to fit the size you really want is worth it in my opinion.

hi regie, ive had the 265's on my rangie 3.9 auto a while now and they been great, ive gone up to a 4 inch suspension lift too,and after good think ive decided to goto 37's,as i do a lot off offroading now as well as green laining too,,oh an i always doing deep river crossings too !! :D ..was just wondering what size yours are,i know they are 37's,im thinking a getting 37/12.50/16's on..creepy crawlers too as i like the look of em. ;) ..ive found a lot of 37/13.00's and 38's on 15 inch wheels too..could you tell me what yours are please, and do you think the 37/12.50/16's will go on my rrc with 40mm spacers too,i know i will have to do a lot of trimming as well...cheers.. ;)
