muddychris300tdi Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Hi looking around my engine on my Disco this weekend, i found that the the pulley that my viscous fan was on has a bit of play/wobble to it and sounds a bit dry when turning. Can i take it apart grease it up and then tighten it all back together or am going to have to get a whole new timing case cover? Chris. Pete Attryde Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 The bearing is none adjustable and allegedly not replaceable. So yes a new cover will be the simplest but not cheapest solution.
